WHERE WE ARE
Our holiday homes are located in the city of Como and the small mountain village of Brunate. Those are ideal places to enjoy the slow tourism, the beauty of Nature and regional cuisine.
Como is a Roman origin city, located in the south of the eastern branch of Lake Como, rich in history and beauty. Native town of Pliny the Elder and Alessandro Volta.
Como sits near the Swiss border, and at about 40km from Milan, making it easily reachable by both regional and national/international railways.
Brunate is a small and characteristic village on the hill close to Como, located at about 750a.s.l. Connected with Como by a funicular in 7 minutes or by a mountain and panoramic road 5km long. Placed in a unique and enviable position, Brunate let you enjoy a spectacular and unforgettable view of the city of Como, the whole north-eastern part of Italy, the southern part of Switzerland and Lake Como; because of that, Brunate is called “the balcony on Como” and “the balcony on the Alps”. Volta’s lighthouse magnifies the incredible view, giving a 360° lookaround, making yourself contemplate Lario’s mountains and everything else.
